Water:formaldehyde:methanol (H₂O:H₂CO:CH₃OH with a 100:2:0.8 ratio) ice mixture deposited at 15 K onto a cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, then irradiated with ¹⁶O⁷⁺ ion projectiles with energies of 220 MeV to a fluence of 9.6E13 ions.cm⁻², and held at 15 K during spectroscopic measurements.
The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 15 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 5000 to 600 cm⁻¹.
The absorption (A) spectrum is also provided in this dataset.
The irradiated H₂O:H₂CO:CH₃OH ice mixture and its infrared spectra were produced and collected at Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds (GANIL), Caen, France and published in de Barros et al. (2014), while the optical constants provided here were calculated with the NKABS ("N and K determination from ABSorbance data") code and published in Rocha et al. (2017).
