Water:ammonia:carbon monoxide (H₂O:NH₃:CO with a 1:0.6:0.4 ratio) ice mixture deposited at 13 K onto a cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, then irradiated with ⁵⁸Ni¹³⁺ ion projectiles with energies of 46 MeV to a fluence of 1E12 ions.cm⁻², and held at 13 K during spectroscopic measurements.
The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 13 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 5000 to 600 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹.
The absorption (A) spectrum is also provided in this dataset.
The irradiated H₂O:NH₃:CO ice mixture and its infrared spectra were produced and collected at Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds (GANIL), Caen, France and published in Pilling et al. (2010), while the optical constants provided here were calculated with the NKABS ("N and K determination from ABSorbance data") code and published in Rocha et al. (2017).
