Amorphous acetylene (C₂H₂) ice deposited at 12 K onto a potassium bromide (KBr) substrate, then warmed up to 60 K, and held at 60 K during spectroscopic measurements.
The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 60 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 7000 to 3500 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 2 cm⁻¹.
The transmission (T) spectrum of a 6.5-µm-thick sample is also provided in this dataset.
