OCS Ice at 50 K

Ice Datasets
Description
Sample Type Ice
Components OCS
Ratio 1
Substrate CsI
Phase / State
Reference Temperature 50 K
Wavenumber (cm⁻¹) 600.39 - 3199.2
Wavelength (µm) 3.126 - 16.656

Carbonyl sulfide (OCS) ice deposited at 10 K onto a cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, then warmed up to 50 K, and held at 50 K during spectroscopic measurements.

The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 50 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 3200 to 700 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 2 cm⁻¹.

The transmission (T) spectrum is also provided in this dataset.
