Carbon monoxide:methane (CO:CH₄ with a 20:1 ratio) ice mixture deposited at 10 K onto a cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, then warmed up to 25 K, and held at 25 K during spectroscopic measurements.
The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 25 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 3500 to 1000 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹ across the CH₄ features and 2 cm⁻¹ across the rest of the spectrum.
The transmission (T) spectrum is also provided in this dataset.
