Carbon monoxide (CO) ice deposited at 28.5 K onto a high-resistivity float-zone silicon (HRFZ-Si) substrate, then warmed up to 31.2 K, and held at 31.2 K during spectroscopic measurements.

The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined from 129 µm to 21 mm using optical measurements done at a temperature of 31.2 K, by THz time-domain spectroscopy with a resolution of ~0.03 THz.

The opacity (𝜅) spectrum of a CO ice sample deposited for 5 minutes is provided in this dataset.
