Mixture CO2:OCS (20:1) Ice at 70 K

Description
Sample Type Ice
Components CO2:OCS
Ratio 20:1
Substrate CsI
Reference Temperature 70 K
Wavenumber (cm⁻¹) 500.08 - 3999.7
Wavelength (µm) 2.5 - 19.997

Carbon dioxide:carbonyl sulfide (CO2:OCS with a 20:1 ratio) ice mixture deposited at 10 K onto a cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, then warmed up to 70 K, and held at 70 K during spectroscopic measurements.

The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 70 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 4000 to 500 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹ across the main features and 2 cm⁻¹ across the rest of the spectrum.
