Pure CO (1) Ice at 10 K
Sample Type | Ice |

Components | CO |
Ratio | 1 |
Substrate | CsI |
Reference Temperature | 10 K |
Wavenumber (cm⁻¹) | 2105 - 2185 |
Wavelength (µm) | 4.577 - 4.751 |
Carbon monoxide (CO) ice deposited at 10 K onto a cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, and held at 10 K during spectroscopic measurements.
The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 10 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 2185 to 2105 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹.
