Amorphous nitrous oxide (N2O) ice deposited at 10 K onto a potassium bromide (KBr) or cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, and held at 10 K during spectroscopic measurements.
The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 10 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 4000 to 500 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹.
The absorption spectrum of a 0.25-µm-thick sample is provided in this dataset.
