Pure C3H6O2 (1) Ice at 115 K

Description
Sample Type Ice
Components C3H6O2
Ratio 1
Substrate KBr or CsI
Reference Temperature 115 K
Wavenumber (cm⁻¹) 550.104 - 7800.054
Wavelength (µm) 1.282 - 18.178

Crystalline methyl acetate (C3H6O2) ice deposited at 115 K onto a potassium bromide (KBr) or cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, and held at 115 K during spectroscopic measurements.

The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts] of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 115 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 7800 to 550 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹.
