Monocrystals of ammonia-d3 (ND3) ice produced at 199 K (-74 °C), and held at 199 K (-74 °C) during spectroscopic measurements.
The real part (n) of the complex index of refraction was determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 199 K (-74 °C), using a standard sodium lamp source (λ ~ 589 nm) and a low-power microscope by measuring the position of the transmitted sodium line and comparing with a calibration curve.
Error bars/uncertainties are provided in the downloadable data.
