Pure H2O (1) Ice at 77 K
Description
Sample Type | Ice |
---|---|
Components | H2O |
Ratio | 1 |
Substrate | Si |
Reference Temperature | 77 K |
Wavenumber (cm⁻¹) | 125 - 4000 |
Wavelength (µm) | 2.5 - 80 |
Water (H2O) ice deposited at 77 K onto a silicon (Si) substrate, and held at 77 K during spectroscopic measurements.
The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 77 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 4000 to 125 cm⁻¹.
