Pure c-C2H4O (1) Ice at 100 K

Description
Sample Type Ice
Components c-C2H4O
Ratio 1
Substrate CsI
Reference Temperature 100 K
Wavenumber (cm⁻¹) 699.92 - 5000.11
Wavelength (µm) 2 - 14.287

Crystalline ethylene oxide (c-C2H4O) ice deposited at 100 K onto a cesium iodide (CsI) substrate, and held at 100 K during spectroscopic measurements.

The real (n) and imaginary (k) parts of the complex index of refraction were determined using optical measurements done at a temperature of 100 K, by infrared transmission spectroscopy from 5000 to 700 cm⁻¹ with a resolution of 1 cm⁻¹.
